Overview The Mendoza Combo Cups are the finest combo cup set you may ever handle, the Mendoza Combo Cups are hand-spun from .050 gauge copper with a thick insert in each cup so all cups are of equal weight and balance, providing a satisfying weight and feel to each cup. The set is designed from the ground up as a combo set resulting in each cup looking and feeling identical, and rendering the gaff undetectable. A lot of trial and error, prototypes and engineering went into these cups to make them the finest quality working combo set on the market today. Used and endorsed by John Mendoza as the official John Mendoza Copper Combo set, John had these kind words to say: "I have spent the last four years looking for the perfect set of Combo cups for my Mendoza Cups & Balls routine. I have tried virtually every cup maker you can imagine, from the low end cheap cups to the very highest end silver cups and every maker in between, including some very nice attempts from RNT II. I have had no success. To my absolute delight, RNT II has now succeeded in making the perfect cups. Their feel and weight is perfect. All three cups have the same feel and weight. The release is as close to perfect as one can get and the size holds a big load without looking like a big cup. I honestly cannot recommend any cup more highly for the Mendoza Cups & Balls Routine." John Mendoza Specifications Each cup is hand spun from .050 copper and the exterior is polished to a glossy mirror finish. The interior is a satin copper finish.

Like Richard has stated... the Mendoza Combo Cups LOOK good, FEEL good, and WORK good. They are my "work horse" cups now. I am patiently waiting for a nice patina to form as I work with them. I combined them with some 1 1/8" Blue Sparkling Balls and they look great together! I have been working with Mendoza's 1969 routine and so far it's been fun! I recommend these cups to anyone who is looking to purchace a great set of Combo Cups.

I've been waiting a magical lifetime for these cups! All other cups I have used have occasioned compromises in my routine. Either I've had to use smaller balls, eliminate moves that demand that more than one ball be nested between two cups (these accommodate THREE 1" balls between two nested cups!), or restrict my loads to "small potatoes" (sometimes literally!) These cups LOOK good, FEEL good, and seem to have taken every possible desirable design consideration into account. I've finally found, as Michael Close would say, my "workers." My other sets, collected over 50 years in magic, can now rest peaceably and permanently in my display case.
